London Diary: Entry One
So I can no longer call myself a Mother City Blonde any more...sob sob. I’m now a London Jetsetter. I’ve been set free into the big bad working world, no more watching the time go by on Jammie, chilling on Clifton 4th beach or cruising the local Long street drinking holes. Luckily for me I have landed in an incredible city bursting with life and energy :) – yes people do get up before noon in some parts of the world – Cape Town get your act together! Jokes aside, London is fantastic! There is so much to see and do and be a part of!
So far I’ve managed to get to a footie game, visit the National Theatre, celebrate the start of the New Year on the banks of the river Thames witnessing an array of breathtaking fireworks and settle into my new abode :) Many visits to the local grocer later we finally have a flat that resembles a place one would live in. Not without its problems though! One word: Plumber! If I never see another one of those again life will be perfect!!!
Anyway, currently typing this from Alexandria, Egypt. Yes I know this is a London Diary entry but this is what happens when you strike it lucky on the work front – they send you right back to Africa and lucky for me one does not work too hard in Africa!!
Write soon with some more exciting news :)
Keep it Blonde!
Mizz Honey
