Happy Birthday Kate!

Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge (and commoner who married a prince *sigh*) turns 30 today!

Since transitioning from 'Waity Katie' to William's wife, the former Miss Middleton has become a press darling and fashion icon. The Blondes drank bubbly and ate chocolate whilst she waltzed down the isle and into the royal family in her princess Alexander McQueen wedding gown, and since then she has made all sorts of appearances in all sorts of delightful outfits. 

And in case you thought that dressing pretty was all she did with her days *lies*. Just this week Kate announced her chosen charities for which she will provide patronage - the combination reflecting her love of the arts, sports and wish to work with children. And on top of that, she's also become a scout leader!
