A new year, a new world cup

The 2010 soccer world cup is but a memory (albeit a very well documented one due to this blog) and The Blondes have continued in their crazy mother city shenanigans.

But currently it is Rugby's turn. Now whilst South Africa may not be playing host this world cup around, at least it's a sport where we have quite the epic track record (defending champs, not to mention 95 winners too). And since NZ is so darn ahead of us time-wise, this is becoming known as The Breakfast World Cup.

Or maybe brunch. I like brunch; it's awesome - the perfect meal really. Especially with bubbly and croissants.

It also leaves time for much more other mother city adventures ;)

Dr Lem is sadly saving lives in Egoli much of her time, but we've found some additions to our trouble-maker crew in McDog (who contrary to her name dresses like a complete lady alllll the time and owns more make-up than the rest of us put together) and Hipster Bee (who was flitting across Europe last year and missed out on most of the fun).

Here's to another tournament of blonde awesomeness
xoxo
