Paul Wesley ( Wasilewski) was born July 23, 1982 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Polish parents and grew up in Marlboro Township, New Jersey. In addition to English, he also knows Polish, having spent four months every year in Poland until the age of 16. Wesley is currently starring as vampire Stefan Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries. He has been offered the role of Paris in a 2012 film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, scheduled to shoot in September. He enjoys playing ice hockey and snowboarding. Wesley has also expressed an interest in directing and writing. Wesley married long term girlfriend and Pretty Little Liars star Torrey DeVitto in April 2011

Ian Somerhalder born December 8, 1978 and raised in Covington, Louisiana. He plays Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries. After months of speculation, it was officially confirmed in September 2011 that he is dating his 'Vampire Diaries' co-star Nina Dobrev.
